Jack Dorsey’s Bold Bitcoin Prediction: $1 Million by 2030

Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Block and ex-CEO of Twitter, has made a striking forecast: Bitcoin could soar to $1 million per coin by 2030. Speaking with Mike Solana of Pirate Wires on May 9, 2024, Dorsey expressed confidence that the cryptocurrency’s market cap could exceed $20 trillion—a staggering leap from its current valuation.

Jack Dorsey’s Bold Bitcoin Prediction $1 Million by 2030

Dorsey attributes this potential surge to the relentless innovation within Bitcoin’s ecosystem. “The community keeps enhancing it, and adoption is growing,” he remarked. With over 19.6 million Bitcoins currently in circulation, a $1 million price tag would catapult its total value past $20 trillion, dwarfing its present market cap by more than 15 times.

Bitcoin has already climbed to a record high of $107,000 in 2025, but it sits at $83,000 as of now. Achieving Dorsey’s vision would demand a jaw-dropping 1,100% increase in just five years. Is this feasible? Some industry heavyweights think so. Cathie Wood of Ark Invest has projected a $1.5 million price by 2030, fueled by the rise of U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs. Meanwhile, Michael Saylor of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) sees Bitcoin overtaking gold, with a short-term target of $500,000 and a long-term goal of $5 million.

Skeptics, however, point to the immense growth required. Still, Dorsey’s optimism underscores Bitcoin’s evolving role in the financial world, driven by a dedicated community and increasing mainstream traction.
